No usually just 2 or 3, and they're the ones that were on during charging.

The LEDs on mine stayed on after disconnecting the charger.

I can't comment on the 'need', but the install is super easy. A bunch of screws on the lid come out, and then you just unplug one set of wires from the BMS and move it to the new boards. Here's before and after pix:

Any tips to getting the balance leads off? Are they potted in silicone? Are you securing the balance board to the case somehow?

The install video is very straightforward. It looks like the kit includes a 'splitter' board and the balance board. It's all plug and play....

I got in 2 Global Power 100AH batteries this week, and both arrived at 13.4V. I charged them both with a Noco genius 10 and the charger got to 100% and both batteries settled at around 13.8V. It'll be a month or so before I'll be able to install them in the trailer and run them under load with...

Good idea, especially considering most of the inexpensive batteries don't do low-temp cutoff correctly.

Hi Amy! I'm new to this. I am just looking to connect 2 12v 100Ah batteries together in parallel to increase the run time. Why does the internal BMS affect that? Thanks!

The Docan Bluetooth BMS is a great feature, but sad to hear they don't support using the battery in parallel as I was planning for a pair of them.

Any idea if that 120ah Global Power battery actually has low-temp charging cutoff?

I'm also interested in Docan's prebuilt pack....any info to share? Thanks! I did find a quick video of the manufacturing, but would love to hear from someone that's torn into one....
