I just noticed that the B300 battery is 74 lbs. - yikes! Having wheels like the EP500 and the Delta Pro makes a lot more sense when things start getting this heavy.

Another compelling option if there is no hardware authentication is an AC300 base unit and DIY batteries.

From the limited information that's available it looks like the features and pricing are competitive with the Bluetti EP500 and EP500Pro.

Anybody figure out how they're able to get 6000 W from two Pros with the split phase combiner box plugged into 20 A outlets? They would have to push 25 A to get 6000 W.

The Ecoflow Delta is not a good UPS replacement because its inverter is always on and its battery is always topping off when it's being used in this way, which will degrade its NMC battery pack in the long term. From personal experience I can say that you'll be disappointed with the Delta's...

Pricey but it's good to see something like this from a mainstream brand. I'm guessing that its inverter conversion efficiency is similar to the Ecoflow Delta's, which means that you'll definitely need to swap batteries if, for example, you would like to run a refrigerator overnight.

My Ecoflow Delta is the same. In a ~9 hour discharge test power delivered to my full-size Whirlpool refrigerator was only ~600 Wh. The rest of the battery capacity was used up by the AC inverter's self consumption.

The updated specs are solid. For my use cases I would like it to be able to charge fast from AC like the Ecoflow Delta. EDIT: faster 600W charging is possible through the XT60/Anderson solar input. I can't tell if it's added/combined with the 300W "aviation port" charging input.

The manual states that the KiloVault RES-Q only accepts 12 V sources. ("for example, solar panel, hand crank, windmill, etc.") The weight could be a deal (and back!) breaker for sure. It's also more expensive. Anyway, I hope that Ecoflow includes a battery expansion port on their follow up...

Will just reviewed one of KiloVault's batteries. They also make a generator that is somewhat similar to the Delta. It's not as pretty as EcoFlow's products but it has an external expansion battery port that the Delta lacks: https://kilovault.com/kilovault-res-q/

I got to use my EcoFlow Delta IRL during tropical storm Eta. It ran my refrigerator and TV like a champ. I had already planned to set up the generator to recharge it but fortunately the power outage was only 3 hours long.

Ecoflow sent out a survey a couple of months ago about a follow-up to the Delta. The Omni Off-Grid basically lines up with my replies in that survey (expandable storage, efficient AC inverter) so I'm tempted to sign up. Is anybody here familiar with them?

As I understand it, the Delta's inverter always consumes battery power when the AC output is on. This causes the phantom current drain that periodically triggers a re-charge. This is different from a normal UPS where the inverter is normally disabled and bypassed with a relay.
