I'm just checking but you do know that is about 5000 watts and about 8000 short term. are you running a house with central AC. at those levels limiting factors maybe batteries and inverter. Would need a big low frequency or real good high frequency. Not trying to ask a dumb question just checking.

I do know chest freezer's are very efficient just from when they are opened the cold air doesn't spill onto the floor to be replaced by warm air from above. Older sailboats often had top hatch and they are very efficient. Just an idea.

No thats not what I mean what I mean is I may be incurring a deficit of around 35 amps when you factor in what I am pulling in from solar and if we are talking 24 volt instead of 12 half that but its all the same watt wise
