We had a hellacious storm come thru last night and knock a tree down in our yard. The tree took out the power companies' lines but missed my Solar array by mere millimeters. Makes me wonder, what is someone trying to tell me?

I am seriously considering an electric car, I have plenty of solar panels and wondered what other folks are doing to charge their electric cars from the panels? Is the charging mechanisms DC or AC? Anyone installed a chargeverter just for their electric car yet?

I have two(2) EG4 6500EX setup and have nine(9) 390w 48v 9a panels for ~3500w 430v 9a of Solar connected to one side of each inverter for a total of 7kW solar. I want to add more panels but wondered if I can duplicate what I have or do I need to split it into smaller chunks for the inverters...
