Xuba Electronics: DEAL - 280AH LiFePo4 cells. Purchase & Review

About the BMS's SGT Raven, I will post a review/ opinions in Will's BMS thread this evening. As far as my XUBA batteries they came in on March 9 to Oregon, payment received on Feb 22, in perfect condition, to give you an idea of the wait time, 4 per box, interesting thing was 1 box (4 cells)...

Xuba Electronics: DEAL - 280AH LiFePo4 cells. Purchase & Review

Yes, I have received these have them hooked up, and I am using the Enterprise app from Will's website. App is a little clunky, I have tested low voltage and high voltage along with overtemp (heatgun for a second on temp wire) and undertemp with ice cubes. So far everything is working great!

    2x 12v packs questions on a 12v system

    3) sorry in my head it mades sense when I wrote it lol, I mean connect all of them with bus bars to let them sit and equalize over night then split the packs and add the bms to each 4s set. But sounds like from your other answers my best bet is just build each 4s pack if they all test within...

    2x 12v packs questions on a 12v system

So I have 8x 280ah cells arriving tomorrow. Woohoo yeah! (I already got my two 120a smart Bms's) 1) I am curious if I can run just 1 pack for a few days/cycles before I add the other pack? 2) How important is both packs being equal before parallel connecting them? 3) should I connect the bus...

    Travel trailer AC charger help

I have a similar issue now, with my current 6v batteries, I just let the solar take care of them, since they are so low AH, it doesn't take much sun to charge them. With the lifepo4 I figured I should "complete" the system and look at a better ac charger. But as I dive into this. It's looking...

    Travel trailer AC charger help

So I confirmed with a shunt and just got 8+ amps from my 7 pin connector on my stock 2018 Ford superduty. It has the trailer package and camper package so it has a relay and fuse for the #4 pin on the 7 pin connector when the electronics verify the trailer attached it will start charging. (My...

    Travel trailer AC charger help

I will go test the current from the 7 pin, in a little bit. As far as the AC charger, I will get the model number of the unit and look up if it actually has any charge cycles, my guess is it's pretty low end (dumb) charger.

    Travel trailer AC charger help

Sorry newbie question, I have read so much stuff I start second guessing my needs/plan. The stock charger I know is pretty weak but will it work for lifepo4 to just top off the pack when at a place with full hookups? Or do you recommend in just letting the solar (victron CC) maintain the...

Xuba Electronics: DEAL - 280AH LiFePo4 cells. Purchase & Review

Thank goodness on the M6, M4 scares me. Any recommendations/feelings on non permanent thread locking? I will be building a sturdy case for the cells so they won't move. But I know the vibrations can still loosen that connection in a mobile application.
