Hi! Is it possible to add to an existing (owned) solar power system roof installed that is grid tied? Im having a company install it to our new house and am wondering if it is an east process down the road to install more panels for a larger system. Thanks!

Wow that’s an expensive quote! So maybe $13,000 with the builder isn’t too bad for a 3.5kw system.

The house is about 1400 sq. Ft with a south facing roof. Probably a portion for now. It would be nice to add onto it eventually and make enough to sell back to the power company. Im just wondering if $13,000 is a fair price for the solar system.
