Max Charge Input for EG-4 48v100a

The Schneider XP is the inverter, and there’s also two Schneider charge controllers. My charge controllers are capable of more than 100a. Right now they’re set to 83% so it doesn’t go over 100a.

    Connecting panels to heat elements.

Not sure what panels or elements yet. It has to be somewhat lower wattage, lower than 1000w. Panels could even be a string of used ones.

    Connecting panels to heat elements.

Is there a way to connect DC powered heating elements directly to solar panels? By directly I mean no batteries or inverters. What options do I have (or not)? And if so, easier and cheaper is better. Thank you all!

Max Charge Input for EG-4 48v100a

I have 5 EG-4 48v100a connect to solar through a SchneiderXP. What’s my max charge input from the panels to the batteries, 100a per battery or 100a? My installer says I can’t instal any more panels because I’m already exceeding 100a charge input.

Positive cable overheating on eg-4 bus bar

Yes, I’m working on rearranging all the cables and connections and making them a little neater, and then flipping the negative bus bar over so that the positive connection is in top, and negative at the bottom, thus hopefully eliminating any current sharing problem. Right now the priority is to...

I have a 5- battery system with eg-4 lifepo2 installed on signature solar rack, connected with 1awg cable to Schneider XW+ 6848. Tonight as the water heater was running and pulling 4.5kwh from the battery system, the positive cable overheated and started smoking. This is the first time this...

Flipping negative bus bar upside down

Yes, that is an EG-4 rack from signature solar, and I updated a new picture. The batteries are indeed connected to the bus bars, and according to the video you suggested, I need to flip the bus bar around. I’m just trying to find a way to do it safely. Should I also disable the charger settings...

I have 4 EG-4 Lifepower batteries installed on my system, connected to a Schneider inverter. 1awg cable from inverter to the top of the bus bars on the signature solar rack. Then I saw Will Prowse say in his videos that the negative bus should Ben flipped upside down to avoid current sharing/...
