So I tried to set the battery to lithium, but I'm unable to set it. It's on the second page of advanced on the LCD, I click the drop down, then it asks me for the password. Once I enter the password it goes back to the first page. If I click down again, it goes back to the homepage... 🤦...

I followed the instructions exactly, put master on dip switch 1, (first switch on the left down) and the second one on dip switch 2 (second from the left down), connected everything up like it said, turned them on, flipped all the breakers, but it's like the 18k doesn't know they are there...

No, but after reading this it sounds like I can unscrew the vent cover to get them, so I'll do that.

Mine was off too on one of mine. I also ended up dropping my dip switch cover screws in the same place in the vent cover... 🤦

@EG4_Jared That would be very helpful. Please share as soon as possible, trying to plan out a fairly large system and this is a critical part of it.

Needs to feed into a single 400A panel. With regards to the generator, any thoughts on how to do that? Would you split the generator input to the two 18k's too?

We are attempting to install solar to a home which has a 400 Amp service and a existing standby generator connected thru an ATS. The goal would be to full home back up. We are thinking a dual 18kPV system with 4 PowerPros to start. Are the EG4 systems capable of monitoring consumption of a 400...

Looks like increasing the "Start PV Volt(V)" value fixed my issues. Thanks @Markus_EG4 For anyone having this issue, I don't think you can change this value your self for some reason, need to contact EG4 (ie: Markus) to get it done.

Just to clarify, I have no AC input, only solar DC input + grid. Waiting on my 2 PowerPros...

I got some help from Markus, he has different settings he can change that I don't see on my EG4 monitoring interface, one of those being "Start PV Volt(V)". Mine was set to 140 and he changed it to 280. The sun is about to go down so we'll see if the sunset trips my power and after sunrise...

I'm in the Caribbean where most people have multiple A/Cs running all day every day, so I'll stick to recommending the 18kPV.

I have an 18kPV, but I want to know if the 6000XP could be used in the exact same scenario on a smaller house. I'm using the grid for pass through power (when I use more than my panels and at night). Can the 6000XP be used the exact same way or is there some kind of limitation?

BTW, the 18kpv is rated for 21kw max for excess, so I wouldn't exceed that.
