It is a 12v system. I was thinking I'd do a couple little car charger USB ports and maybe some LED stair lights. Maybe I am better off going off the battery.

I had envisioned the MPPT as normal, PV + battery, and the PWM as battery + load, no PV. No?

Might be a dumb question. I'd like to wire a couple of things on 12v and my (MPPT) charge controller doesn't have a load output. Can I just add a 2nd (cheap PWM) controller to the mix, with no PV going in, and come off of that?
