I'm still having the problem. I have a single 6500Ex and 3 eg4 batteries. Fault 61 appears in the middle of the day during higher current charging conditions. I have a brand new cable from signature solar. I have gone through the videos from signature solar and still the same problem...

You are probably aware that you can mute the alarm. I have mine muted so that my wife doesn't say the same thing to me. :) But I do think this is a software issue on the inverter. And yah, the app is hopelessly behind the firmware options on the inverter. The two bits of software are not in sync.

For me, it communicates fine 90% of the time, but during the middle of the day when the charging current is higher, I'll get fault 61 for a few seconds and then it clears on it's own. The fault will go on and off continually until the charging current lowers.

I'm having Issue #3... intermittant Error 61 during the middle of the day during charging. Battery is nowhere near 100% :)

I got a new cable from signature solar and still getting error code 61 during middle of the day (> 30amp charging). None of the suggestions on the video fixes the problem. Seeing the same thing as 5275K_Dude.

you can run 120v appliances off of one inverter but you would need two inverters for 240v appliances.

for anyone who wants to try to make their own cable here is how I got it working. Pin 1 goes to Pin 3 and Pin 2 goes to Pin 5. Here I used the one green pair. It's working right now... but I will keep an eye on it.

I've charged all my packs to 100% and now can't get fault 61 to go away. I'm using custom built cables that seem to work sometimes. I'm pretty sure this is more than a cable issue since it's intermittent.

I already have my bus bar flipped but still get error 61. It does sound though like some of these problems are related to batteries not evenly charged. I also have a growatt inverter and it did not have these issues (with the same battery pack)
