100ah AGM used as starter battery?

I’ve received a question about using a 100ah AGM as a starter battery.

The use scenario would be as salvage from a lifepo4 upgrade. Typical starter demands might last a very long on one of these batteries, even after frequent deep cycle use.

The trouble is it needs to be under bonnet rated (extra thick case) otherwise the heat in the engine bay will shorten its life. Especially if you live in Australia when it's 45c in summer

I'm putting an "under bonnet rated" dual purpose AGM in as an auxiliary battery.
