18k setup help

I have purchased almost all my equipment but have a few questions. FYI This system will eventually sell back to the grid
*Note: I am not doing the install. I have a master electrician friend that will be doing the majority of the work.


Question 1: Does the attatched diagram look correct?

Question 2: Where in the diagram should I put lightning protection. I obviously need to put one for each pv string, but I am not sure what else I need. Do I need one at the house panel and one from the grid to the 18k...if so where does it go?

Breaker only for 18kpv so you can do maintenance on it.

Lightning protection near meter. May also consider pv lines incase panels are hit.

Looks good from what I can see. Also, here is a wiring diagram form our manual. As for location of lighting protection in the system I found the Midnite Solar diagrams very helpful for wiring and location of lighting arrestors in the system.
