Hi Everyone, I’m John. Ive been studying solar for several 5 years now and just built my personal system in my Primetime Avenger LT 17BHS Travel Trailer although I have built for other people. I built a 1200 watt solar array in 6S 2P configuration with eight 100ah Deep Cycle Hybrid Gel batteries in parallel (Soon to be replaced with a DIY LiFePO4 battery bank) with a 4000 watt 12000 watt surge AIMS inverter/charger and 100 amp Renogy Rover Charge Controller. Also added was a 40 amp DC to DC charger so i can charge from my Suburbans starter battery. The design went off without a hitch and is running great! It’s been off grid for about 3 months now and it can run absolutely everything in the camper.
