Just wondering if it hooks in to the panel box or if it requires something else, like solar panels go to inverter then where does inverter go to, (does it go to a regular breaker?)was looking for a wiring diagram but couldn’t find a good one.More details please. Not sure what you want to do exactly.

Your installer(actually you "can" do the installation DIY, learn the code and go for it.) would make something then that is "normal" grid-tied, just like what I have installed and show here.Didn’t think I would need a charge controller with a grid tied system. I have no interest in having any battery’s with this system.
K thanks this is what I was looking for. The connection is at the meter and not the panel box.This is how a SolarEdge with panel optimizers is grid-tied.
Grid <--> Net-Meter --> Loads panel
Grid <--> Net-Meter <-> Solar panels
The house and the solar are connected to the utility meter at the exact same point.
The complete picture:
Solar Panels --> Inverter --> Net Meter --> Loads Panel/Grid

The solar panel meter - it serves no purpose other than to show how much total the panels have produced in their lifetime.

The truth is, as long as the connection is WITH the mains, it doesn't matter where it is connected between the meter and the main circuit breaker.K thanks this is what I was looking for. The connection is at the meter and not the panel box.
The meter itself yes would have to be changed to something the utility will provide.This meter receiver would have to be changed right
