I have and use a 48v to 13.8 v one but I thought the OP had a 24v system
I mistyped, I meant amps.

Great choice! Any concern about the controller thinking I’ve shorted out by tapping into the 24v battery output? Do you have a favorite 12v distribution box? Thanks!
This unit will present a 24v load to the battery with the two wires that connect to the battery or load terminals on your controller.
The other two wires coming out of this unit will provide 13.8v and the controller will not be aware of that part. Some heat is produced as the voltage is dropped to 13.8 in the process.
