JBD bms discharging one string?

Hi Guys, has anyone had the experience of a 4S 100A Jbd Discharging only one string to 0 volts. ?
discharged a 40ah Bank completely disconnected from any load in 2 weeks
seems the balancer is going nuts.

Nope. The balancer should only work on the HIGH voltage cells. The most likely cause is a failed cell that is internally shorted and can't retain a charge.

It's POSSIBLE it's the BMS, but the most common cause of the vast majority of cases is failed cell.

Yeah, I thought so. Charged back that string and everything is back to normal. pulling complete Ah.

Recommend you disconnect the BMS sense cable from the BMS to power it down next time it's in storage. It can't do anything to the cells in that state.

Might also be a bad sense lead connection. Did you confirm the cell voltage with a separate meter?
