Hey everyone, loooota rv ground posts but none seem to be a perfect match for my question. i just installed a Eg4 6400xp in my rv with 3.6kW of panels up top. I've got everything hooked up but i find myself confused about a few ground questions.
Atm i have the AC ground output from the inverter going to the rv breaker box, that box already had a ground connection from the ground bus bar to the chassis, i assume this is correct and i want to keep it that way. Should i also be grounding the inverter case to the chassis or is it already grounded through the ac out ground?
Finally just to verify, there is no N/G bond in the breaker box so i enabled the N/G bond on the inverter settings. However if i should ever want to use my shore power hookup (via the grid input connection on the inverter) i would want to disable that bond prior to plugging in to avoid a double bond from the shore power correct?
