So I've tried finding an answer to this question but I haven't really got a good answer.
I see this becoming an issue in the future with more and more people adding onto their current systems.
For example i have two sets of inverters that share a large battery bank. Each with their own separate loads. I would also love the get a EG4 chargeverter to hook up to an old generator. Right now I have one set that uses CAN while the other set of inverters operates off the reading the volts with conservative settings.
From my understanding the battery bank can only communicate with a single device and there is no way to share CAN/485 between multiple devices. Is this correct?
