Serial vs parallel setup of just 2 panels

Hello,

Here is another question about my setup:

I have two identical 100W PV-panels (Vmp 18.00V Imp 5.56A OpenCircuit: 22.5V) and one Epever Tracer 2606BP (10A, Max Open Circuit 60V, rated charge power 130W/12V) to charge one Lead-Car Battery 60AH, 12V.

From the specs (and cables) serial and parallel connection of the PV-Panels would be possible.

Which setup would be the most effective considering that i live in central europe where the weather is often not as sunny.

I'd go series to keep voltage higher and have better low light performance.
You're going to be limited to 130W by the mppt regardless.

I have still problems understanding the system.

I have another MPPT Controller (Epever 5606BP), that one is rated 260W/12V.

Would my setup benefit from changing to the 20A model?

I greatly appreciate your feedback.

Today, I made a change by switching the controller and linking the panels in a serial configuration.

With these adjustments, I'm hopeful that everything will now work to my satisfaction.
