SMA Data Manager M vs M Lite question

Comparing the spec sheets fort the Data Manager M and the Lite version, the Lite version only appears to support one battery inverter vs 50 for the standard version:

Does this mean that if I have a Master and a Slave SI setup to get 240v split phase with the output I want, I either need two Lite versions or a standard Data Manager M?

You only need one RS485 card to run the Sunny Islands through the data manager. The data manager looks at a cluster as one battery inverter, you can run up to 4 sunny islands. With the lite version you are limited to 5 devices again the sunny islands only count as one.
