I’m at the end of my rope here and would sincerely appreciate any help.
I’m an expat living in Japan and I finally installed my solar last week, however, a single nagging issue persists. I’ve been speaking with SMA Japan but they don’t sell the home manager 2.0 here so they’re at a loss. The reason I need the home manager is for zero export.
For some reason, the home manager is preventing my inverter from connecting to the grid in the morning. I know it’s the manager because if I disconnect the home manager at night, the inverter has no problem connecting to the grid in the AM. Once it’s connected to the grid, I reconnect it to the inverter and it operates as intended and the zero export function works wonderfully.
I followed the installation manual during setup without issue, however, in the smart setup it says, “set point not yet received”. I don’t know how or where to enter these set points. I’ve made sure the firmware is up to date and reset the home manager. Please help.
