Have 14 @ 400 watt canadian solar panels, looking to hook them up using a Schneider 100A charge controller. Looking for advice on how many stings to run, proper disconnects at panels and inverters. Thanks
Just looking for some confirmation on some cable sizing that I'm doing for my solar array. It's going to be 2 strings of 7 panels 400w each 9.2 imp... operating voltage of 43.2. I would like to combine them and run to my batteries which is around 200 feet away. Curious what everyone's...
My FLA's are starting to overheat when charging. Probably time to upgrade. Super nervous about all the horror stories of the eg4s version 2 having issues. Don't want to pay the extra price for the discoverers but I live extremely remote don't have a lot of time due to work to fiddle around with...
Needing help with my solar configuration for a Schneider 100 amp charge controller. My panels will produce 302 volts under normal circumstances. I just noticed the cut in for the charge controller is at 240 volts. Wondering if on hot days if I will stop production due to voltage being below this...
Should have I gone with 60 cell panels instead of 72. Or will 72 with two strings fall within the voltage range that I'm looking for? I heard those charge controllers need a fair amount of voltage to start up?
I've been told I have to use metal conduit. If so do I have to use rigid or can I use EMT if it's buried behind a wall.? Also with 1 inch conduit suffice for 2x 10 AWG conductors plus a 10 AWG ground wire?
