I guess the CIGS Panels getting pretty hot if mounted directly an the roof of a Van. Doesn't it mean that the efficiency also drops more than on a classic Glas-Panel with air under it? Also I guess its getting hotter inside the van, right!?
Whats about the "plastic" surface of the CIGS Panels...
Thats my favorite right now.
Grade A Lishen 202AH for 300€ including shipping and taxes, quick response to questions. But the supplier seems to be not that big. Is that a problem?
Hi,
I want to build a Battery for my Camper-Van but I'm a bit overwhelmed about the huge choice on Aliexpress.
I want 200AH grade A Cell instead of 280, because Sizes and weight really matter to me and it should be more than enough.
On Will's recommendation List is just one 200AH Cell but that...
But the size and especially the weight counts even more for me.
The 200Ah Cells I mentioned cost between 1,35 ->1,70€/AH, the 280ah cells cost about 1,5€/AH so not that big difference.

On the Datasheets of the most lifepo4 it's an max loading current of 1C and permanent loading current of 0,5C declared.
So, can I loading with 0,5C without feeling guilty of reducing the lifetime of the cells to much?
How much C would you guys advise?
Thanks a lot
Dominic

But what's about non flexible Panels with an ETFE surface instead of Glas?
They are way light, 160w weight just 3,4kg.
Unfortunately I just have an link to an German shop.
Are they better than semi flex Panels...
Hi,
I want to put some Solar-Panels on the Roof of my Fiat Ducato. Because the weight really matters to me (need to stay under 3,5t), I'm thinking about using flexible Panels. Because Will strongly recommends the CIGS Modells I would use these.
It seems like they are only available on China...
