Hi,

I want to build a Battery for my Camper-Van but I'm a bit overwhelmed about the huge choice on Aliexpress.
I want 200AH grade A Cell instead of 280, because Sizes and weight really matter to me and it should be more than enough.
On Will's recommendation List is just one 200AH Cell but that one is even more expensive than the 280AH so Im looking for alternative.

My first choice was that one but just a few hours ago Will uploaded a bad test about Liitokala.

That VariCore is cheap, has many orders and positive reviews. But I can't find any information that its new, so I guess it is grade B, right?

SoonBuy wrote "new" in the title. so I guess I have a higher chance to get Grade A, right? The reviews also looking good. But the seller itself has just a 92% positive Feedback.

What's about Elfeland? Also really good reviews and titled as new.

The Seller LiFePO4 battery 18650 battery Store even wrote "NEW GRADE A Batterie" but hasn't so many reviews yet.

I would be grateful for any help!

Thanks and sry for my bad English skills

Dominic

Your build seems price sensitive so my recommendation would be to go with the 280 Ah cells. They dominate the value end of the spectrum.

Higher on the quality side, I really like the 200Ah GBS cells with pos and neg terminals on opposite ends of the cells. This in theory should provide a more even ion transfer and longer cell life.

But the size and especially the weight counts even more for me.
The 200Ah Cells I mentioned cost between 1,35 ->1,70€/AH, the 280ah cells cost about 1,5€/AH so not that big difference.

Besides the price they are way heavier and bigger, so not an option for me.

I have these of these 200ah coming but the 280's are only like +$100 so i agree with LB3 those are a better value. https://www.alibaba.com/product-det...a2756.order-detail-ta-bn-b.0.0.383a2fc29o938E
They are nearly twice as expensive like the one I posted. Are they so much better?
In general, on what do you pay attention on choosing an offer?

No doubt i paid a premium. The reason was because it was a trusted seller from this site, when you scroll down on the listing you see them explicitly state tight tolerances on cell matching, and they had at the time a faster delivery commitment. Also their cheaper listings for the same cells did not state Grade "A".

I travel a good percentage of time in the summer using a bank of 5 Battleborn batteries in my RV. This purchase is a bit of a science experiment to add summertime / overnight AC capacity to the RV so i rationalized paying more for that 400ah increase to have a higher chance of getting them installed quickly and without issue.

Will it work out that way? I have no idea but i will at least have comfort I tried my best.

Thanks!
Is there a reason why many people choosing Alibaba instead of Aliexpress? Isn't it a big disadvantage to haven't any reviews?

Thats my favorite right now.
Grade A Lishen 202AH for 300€ including shipping and taxes, quick response to questions. But the supplier seems to be not that big. Is that a problem?

Everyones experience is different, even with the same supplier. All my solar parts have been ordered online and I have yet to have a problem. I don't see any issues with this supplier. One thing I will mention. All the studio pics show laser welded studs. When I inquired I was told these are old design and now use tapped holes. These are shown in the pics with the multimeter. I have seen the pics for my shipment and they are tapped holes. I have no issue with this. The same as my current 120Ah cells and they are working fine.

I have no preference to Alibaba, Aliexpress, or ebay. I use them all. I just found there were more battery suppliers on Alibaba with better prices. Alibaba is more wholesale/supplier direct while Aliexpress is like ebay.
