When in FlA mode information can seem a little deceiving
Works well just take some time I think I'm going to start doing it a little more often and say once a week the BMS is limited to what it can do in comparison to the cell size
I've got one of those too but it's not wired in the configuration that he needs
That's wired L1-L1, L1-L2, N-N, G-G,
He needs. L1-L1, N-L2, G-G, open-N
Did a sound test. Underload the inverter is not as loud as AC right next to it.
I originally planned getting the 6000xp and server rack batteries but after much research and planning this seemed to be the best route.
This panel feeds 4 sub panels consisting of 3 steel buildings 2 metal sheds a...
I'm pretty sure my problem is not with the load but the firmware update I just installed
I've tested this unit with other equipment running without any problems
Had a strange occurrence today storms rolled in and it got really dark I was checking something on my 18k pv inverter and noticed my #3 string producing 20-25%more power than #1 now were only talking 60w to 75w witch is nothing but got me thinking.
18k nppt inputs 1-2 bridged 25a inputs 3 and...
By the way I appreciate the suggestion of the soft start I am looking into that.
I want to fully understand how it's gonna react with both pieces of equipment
If I find it to be compatible and beneficial in my situation I will definitely add it
Thanks again
I don't have to run this unit and it is soon to be replaced I have other means of climate control
Plus I don't see how throwing soft starts at large inductive loads is a reasonable solution to what seems to me to be a software issue
I have had no fluctuations with any other large inductive...
Alright I tightened up all my work brought everything up the code
Made up a new electrical whip 10 foot+ armaflex 2-14awg w/12awg solid Cu ground
I tested it with dryer on high another AC gone plus lighting total over 8000 W started no problem purrrrs like a kitten
BTW I the rating of those...
I'm just saying a current limiting device can prevent a hard starting device from starting at all I don't want to create a problem I don't already have
I am currently gathering more data on the situation if it looks like it'll be a good fit I will order one
Well they also make what is called a hard start kit which is necessary in an extreme situation
But I'd rather not get in the all that I have plenty of books that better explain it than I can
Made up new whip extended wire length 10 plus feet armor flex 2-14awg +12awg ground all solid Cu
Put everything back together and started up 4ton AC with over 8000 W of load no problem
It doesn't have all the benefits of a soft start but it satisfies my needs
Plus I like saving money
Quote:
Hard start kits can help reduce the amount of power used during startup, which can lower energy bills and prevent brownouts. They can also help with other issues, such as dimming lights when the AC starts, or a compressor that won't start
Not trying to prove anything I'm just saying do...
