Good day.
I am in the process of building a new home 3b 2 bath 1800 sq ft in eastern Kentucky. Power company quoted 46000 to run electric. Now, I plan on wiring the home myself, as I know how to run wiring, install breakers, etc... 13kw system to me seems large enough, with enough battery...
Awesome! I also plan to have generator backup as well but i am confused as to how i would charge the batteries with a non inverted generator. Any ideas
I purchased 2 eg4 6500’s from signature solar and they came with 1/0 cables to go from inverter to bus bar. Will’s video says 2/0. Do i need to purchase 2/0 cable
Ok, so basically just and extension cord to the ac input of one of the charge controllers? Will it be an issue to only hook 1 of the 2 inverters to the generator
So am i correct in assuming that with every hour of sunlight under perfect conditions i should be able to bank/use 6500 watts per hour using an all in one rated for 6500 watts. I dont know why this just popped into my head
I have done a search of the site and cannot see where this has been answered, and if it has i apologize.
Here is my system
2xEg4 6500 ex48v
6xLifePower4 48v batteries
31x 455w panels
I would like to add another battery bank and charge/use both.
Can someone provide some guidance? I know...
I am thinking of doing a standalone well with its own batteries and panels. But i will look at the one you suggested. Thank you very much for all these answers
I have a 2hp, 10.2a 1500watt ac well pump installed. I would like to retrofit it to run on solar but I have couple of questions. Static water level is 60ft and pump is set at 135 ft.
1. Could i just create its own mini-grid with 2000w of panels and a 3kw all in one?
2. RPS makes a retrofit...
Have 2 6500ex with 6 LiFePower batteries. I’ve had them hooked up and running off and on. Today, when i turned the solar panels on, neither one went into bypass mode. So I turned the batteries on, and switched the breakers for both inverters on and it sent the batteries into error mode. So I...
I have 8 of the eg4 Brightmount racks and we have a farm and a bunch of 8" treated fence posts. If i drove them into the ground with a pto post driver, do you all figure that would be sufficient mounting surface?
