I wanted something semi portable for the camper van, this is what I have so far. Now on with cabling, fusing and the rest of the accessories :)
These are the 280ah LifePo cells in a 31bank box, Kisae pure sine inverter and a Kisae DC-DC charge controller.
I just received my 4x Lifepo4 280Ah Batteries for the camper. After looking around I opted to try my luck with Dongguan Billion Electronic Technology. I was dealing with Wilson who was ok do deal with. I was given may excuses after I had placed the order to get an initial tracking number only to...
They are EVE, I ordered the same cell from Dongguan Billion Electronic Technology
https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/LF280-3-2V-Lifepo4-High-Capacity_62379079690.html
I paid $288.00 for 4 cells and $242.00 (total: $530.00 US) shipped to Canada.
Here is the specification...
@Ralo This was the same packaging method as min and I also had one cell with the same corner damadge.... but my box has zero sign of impact, holes or anything that could have cause that damadge! My guess is that it's happening in the bulk shipping preparation stage.
Here is what I ordered:
M6x25mm I can add my main connector, a nut and the balancer leads and another nut and I still have a bit of room to add a dab of retaining coumpoud to the top to prevent any losening. I'm using a battery box group 31, so there is plenty of space :)...
Yes I'm really happy with them. At first one of the cell seemed to be off from the rest but after a few cycle and doing a bottom balance they are all staying on par.
@Waspvl1 I ordered from aliexpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32858179124.html
But from what I can see it's the same "official" supplier. It took about 3 weeks to get here in Canada.
The model I ordered was "4SLFP120A UARTRS485" I have plan to integrate it with a DIY monitor in the...
I had the same thing happened to me, the first tracking number was for a different receiver. It's just a delay tactic, then they blamed the logistic company.
We ended up with the CFX75, we chose that one as we cold control the 2 section and can turn a side off if we don't need it. We really like it and got it on Amazon for a pretty good deal, it was 400$ off CAN
For anyone interested in Arduino, there are a few library and project available for JBD BMS. You don't need to add any other external sensor or shunt and can get the BMS internal values :)

Just order direct! You can even get a 120amp version. They come with 3x 10 gauge wire;)

The communication protocol is listed in the download section of the manufacuturer, it dosent look complicated. I has sent a email to "James" for connection port information and never heard back. My BMS has all the connector populated and I received a few extra wires.
I don't think it matters where you buy your cells, I have a feeling they all just go to the "market" and pick up what ever we order, bring it to the "logistics" company that will package and ship your item. I have been buying from Aliexpress and Alibaba for close to 8 years now. It's hard to...
@Turd Furguson I have a JBD 120a I have put a 1500W small space heater (12.5a) to it and it was drawing 134a it worked for about 5 sec then went into the overload protection. This was connected to a 200W Kisae Pure sine inverter connected to a pack of 4x LifePo4 (280amp). The low and high cell...
