I went with the cooper and hunter 9k 22 seer 120v been using it for heat all winter and my 13000kwh batteries run it all night with 30-40% left depending on how cold it is. Most it pulls is 1000w but that’s usually only for a little bit unless really cold then drops to 300-700w ish.
I just got my second 24v 280ah battery together and I am using a jibaba bms and cell “6” when charges just slowly keeps rising until it hit my bms max cell voltage. Also the cell it’s calling cell 6 is really cell 3 and measures to the over voltage the bms app is saying. Is my cell bad? Possibly...
I noticed this morning my JK BMS is throwing a "Protection current sensor anomaly". Unsure what this meant or how to remedy I contacted the seller on Aliexpress and I am being told this is a known issue and through some translation my understanding is that the BMS is picking up feedback from the...
Doesn’t seem like a very talked about subject based on searches. I just picked up and old 36v ez-go and the batteries are done for. Since I’ve already dove in the diy lifepo4 building for my solar setup I figured why buy inferior lead-acids? Based on my current knowledge I am thinking about...
Volts dropped into mid 12s when pulling 100a and I pulled that for a few mins with no charging started, I’m out of ideas and I think 740GLE is right and it’s just a bad unit, which is unfortunate but what do you do.
Good to know thanks for the info. In configuration I only ever go to 3.45 per cell. I have 3 other 280ah 48v packs that I did test this way (didn't know better at the time). These other cells hit .10 in roughly an hour unlike these that cant hit 1ah in 2. It was just an observation I thought...
I tried that as well, I have 2 10C version and 1 10E version bms. They are all running ver 2.7 I’m going to try to get them to this new 2.8 and hope that does something, seems that’s what everyone else that’s working is using for firmware version.
Have that in my cart, based on my math it should work if the only load I had was the ac but if I was running a mini split and or water heater I'm almost positive it will kick out the inverters, or at the very least create a voltage drop. The plan will be to install one as soon as I get some more...
Update, used the can dip switch settings and for some reason had to reboot my cerbo and I have data! My only problem now is that battery #3 won’t show up on the computer software but shows on the can system in the vrm, I’m hopeful that the update to 2.8 will resolve this.
Another thing worth noting is that as soon as discharge begins and single cell voltage is around 3.35ish (26.8V) the delta is .003 everything and is perfectly synced.
How much do you get out of ur east string in comparison with your south facing ones? Based on what your saying I think I’ll put all 5 east facing and then at least I can see what strings are doing what
Currently running 4 48/3000 multiplus II’s in split phase and I’m considering adding more power since I’m having to turn my water heater off to run dryer/stove. Seen they just released the 48/5000 recently so im wondering if the 8000 model will be next. Currently only available in 230v. Anyone...
