Yeah I guess the plan right now is the discharge it down a ways which I'm doing right now and recharge it check the voltages on all the batteries probably is going to a assortment of voltages and as I said the eqs taken out even though it was recommended for lithium batteries as well in the...

  • Post in thread: I have a 48 volt 200 amp hour battery pack it seems to be degrading

I left everything on for the night to see if the BMS might raise voltage and balance out some. I took another picture of the bms model number and trying to see if I could find the spec's on it ..... I tried to reset the unit a couple of times but didn't seem to change anything .. The number I...
  • Post in thread: I have a 48 volt 200 amp hour battery pack it seems to be degrading

Well I had discharged it down to 70% via EQ really had all the voltages within a 10th of a volt but not exceptionally very high average voltage per cell was 3.25 area I will post some pictures of the cells after the charge downside I just lost another part of my amp hours it was at 180.5 prior...
  • Post in thread: I have a 48 volt 200 amp hour battery pack it seems to be degrading

Not sure when you say high cells but I have a load tester for 12vdc that would make quick work of draining a 12v set of battery's that I use on testing my golf cart battery's to test load . My original thought was that the BMS should balance the battery's my early voltage checks had 3.5 to some...
  • Post in thread: I have a 48 volt 200 amp hour battery pack it seems to be degrading

so purchase a power supply and charge one battery at a time to 3.65? Should I remove the EQ back off the unit?
  • Post in thread: I have a 48 volt 200 amp hour battery pack it seems to be degrading

I can't remember what video it was don't think it was on this equalizer might have been a balancer that it would take and look for the highest voltage and try to match all the other batteries to it I'm thinking that I'm going to have to get this voltage up to gain some of my amp hours back. What...
  • Post in thread: I have a 48 volt 200 amp hour battery pack it seems to be degrading

So would you remove the EQ and replace it with a power supply and charge each battery and hope the BMS will keep it balanced? As I have showed in the pictures it has been slowly degrading in the few months of operation I rath not have to keep doing this to keep amp hours at where it rated would...

Little more information I did pull the equalizer out and took a few more pictures this might be a pace BMS although I can't quite see all the numbers you get exact match I'm currently running a discharge on it with a space heater and going to let it charge back up again thanks for all the help

  • Post in thread: I have a 48 volt 200 amp hour battery pack it seems to be degrading

Thanks for your reply and that was the down fall not much support or information on the battery. I currently have the top off it in the event If I purchase a power supply and charge each battery would I need to remove the buss bars to charge separately? or can you go across each battery in circuit?

I have 2 refrigerators and 1 freezer upright and 10,000 btu window ac and just some general lighting would be my main stuff but have golf cart charger and 40gal water heater. • Post in thread: SunGoldPower Tp-6048 6000w Mppt Split Phase 120/240 output

Unit is around 1 1/2 yr old and worked fine but had a issue and I sent into the factory and has not been un boxed as I changed the unit out for 10k units. Selling for $700.00 would prefer local pickup. I live outside huntsville texas north of houston.
  • Post in thread: I have a 48 volt 200 amp hour battery pack it seems to be degrading

Just took that shot of some of the settings although I think the BMS controls all that not the mppt. Now in most cases I use my solar which is a very slow charging typically no more than 18 amps and that will only be an 1 to 2 hours a time at this time of year otherwise if I want to quickly...
  • Post in thread: I have a 48 volt 200 amp hour battery pack it seems to be degrading

I agree and currently running a space heater on the system and do another discharge then recharge and take a look cell voltages and see if they get up over 3.32 area. I keep thinking I watched a video on a balancer and it would take the high voltage batterys and bring the lower ones up to them...
  • Post in thread: I have a 48 volt 200 amp hour battery pack it seems to be degrading

Unfourtanaly it doesn't communicate with the mppt never has worked and support wasn't any help as they wasn't familiar with the battery so it just reads the voltage. And I always charge to 100% and will normally turn battery off.

So this last test was to drain it down to about 78% took equalizer off recharged and here's the current battery voltage is now if you notice the FCC screen used to say 199.9 amp hour recently it said 180.5 amp hour it drops seems like every time I charge and discharge in a course of 6 to 8...
