I'd just thought I'd chime in with my experience with Neey and Aliexpress. Avoid them as you may be in for a negative experience. I guess I should say, my clone Neey's are not Neey's fault but after the ordeal I've gone through, I wouldn't want it to fall upon anybody. Aliexpress has no...

The tangential square of the volumetrical capacitance supercedes degradation through resistive loads as compared to photosetter modularutarater impulsive equations.... Layman terms..... WTF.... that tracking degradation report took two years off my life..... lol.
  • Post in thread: A gifted horse... best way to match 40 used Calb 180ah cells in 8s5p

Well then I got lucky or the air in my area has magic unicorn pixel dust because after the 7 days all 43 cells equalized to within .009 volts ( see images ), but they were within .5v to begin with. Come to think about it, it was like 12 days in parallel, not 7, but after soo many days messing...

I'll look into that narrative on LiFePo4 degradation... now I understand where all your knowledge comes from.... smile. Pass it on my friend, thanks. As per goal... I will stay with the 4 banks for now and at 80% usage (which I rarely reach) I'll have 11,500k Whr's which a gets me through two...
  • Post in thread: Calb 180Ah Grade D (LOL) needed

I'd prefer to have the 5 banks within 10Ahs so I could keep all five on and not through or over use the lower bank which my understanding would occur

  • Post in thread: A gifted horse... best way to match 40 used Calb 180ah cells in 8s5p

A gift horse... best method to match used LiFePo4 Calb 180ah cells? Summary; I was gifted 46 Calb 180ah cells that came off a dock yacht; owner upgraded to entire Victron package. My vessel runs on 24v, so I set them up in 8s5p (using 40 cells) with each bank having its own Daly 200a BMS. They...

Yes Substrate. I am aware, but that doesn'tmean I have worked out my solutions to such issues. I would love to go full Lithium as I have 6 Valence 138 Amp 12v batteries for Aux Engine, but these are a different composition than the 40 CALB's I just installed. I have appropriate...

Boon, I'm hoping that will be the case with my lithiums, but being that they are used, I feel it best to have one on hand should the need arrises. Lexio, I took a quick look at Seplos, but a bit too late; I already ordered the Daly's. Besides, Daly's cost less and seem to manufacture so many...

  • Post in thread: A gifted horse... best way to match 40 used Calb 180ah cells in 8s5p

Thanks M. Sandals. I was doing as stated, but usage and whether I had to combine banks for higher loads changed watt usage, so I couldn't rely on my findings. That said I bought a EBC-A40L Capacity tester and 25 days from now I should know which cells to group up. Thanks again. Be well Gil
