    Victron Charge Controller Price Crash

Yep, I did sort of a double/triple take on mine before/during/after ordering a 150/45. Mine appears to be a legit/authorized Victron seller. Good question, would be interesting to see if there may be more coming or if this is just a new 'loss leader' for more Victron sales.. either way, I...

    Victron Charge Controller Price Crash

I was referring more to people outside the US.. because even in the US, a significant portion of the population can't even afford a $1k emergency...

    Victron Charge Controller Price Crash

What's that figure adjusted for people who can actually afford solar power?

    Victron Charge Controller Price Crash

Loss leader - get people in with reasonably priced tier 1 charge controllers so that they feel the need to have everything else be Victron too ?

    Another lithium charging fire

Virtually all the cheap lithium powered chinese 'hoverboards' / scooters / e-bikes out there are liabilities. Ticking time bombs. Really just serves to justify standards/inspections for solar/battery setups - as much as I despise dealing with bureaucracy in my own home.

    Water Battery Idea

Of course it's possible... but there's a huge difference between a micro hydro setup with a continuous natural water source and attempting to make your own source by pumping it. I'm with @ruchira88 on this one - for the cost, you could probably just add more panels and/or batteries and come out...

LifePO4 battery SOC vs Voltage issue

Yeah.. sounds like this battery needs to stay on a charger for a while. So far I've had kind of the opposite problem with mine - it was indicating 17% SOC @ despite still being >=52.5V.. but I haven't completed the full setup yet, just some initial testing.

SolarEver as a brand an panel life expectancy

You'll see that and more getting into spring & summer as the sun's path throughout the sky gets higher and higher. Great day for it here today, too. If I had my 4-panel setup done on my cargo trailer it probably would've collected 5-7kWh - which would offset more than half my average daily...

SolarEver as a brand an panel life expectancy

It's a difficult question with your roof mounting situation, but yes... Dec/Jan are definitely the worst months for solar around here. We had an exceptionally dark/dreary month of December up here in Michigan (literally record breaking with <8 hours of total sunshine for the month). We're past...

    Sudden system shutdown

Can't say for sure, mine's a different config with just one LifePower4, so all my dip switches are off. I think for multiple LifePower4s you might have to have the "Master" battery (the one with the BMS cable connected to the inverter) with the first dip switch on, then the second battery with...

EcoFlow a Good Company BAD PRODUCT!

It could be as simple as reorienting the Delta Pro so the inverter & batteries aren't directly between the bluetooth/wireless module on the Delta unit and where the receiving device is.. but yeah, if you can reduce or eliminate those physical barriers, that should help your connectivity.

    Sudden system shutdown

Is your Battery Type setting "LI"? If so, check your BMS communication; ensure your LifePower4's dip switches are set correctly with your battery configuration. This is the same sequence of errors I got before getting BMS communication between the LifePower4 and SPF 3000TL working correctly...

    Melting snow

On a roof-mounted array - particularly over a shingled roof - I'd be a little wary. Ice dams can cause significant damage to roofing. By melting snow on panels, you're creating perfect conditions for ice dams, where that water may refreeze and create dams basically as soon as it hits the roof...

    Constructing a portable all-in-one system

I have similar "portable Battery+Inverter" plans for my solar trailer setup that might be beneficial for you to check out. I plan on building a box with 1/4" hardie board (fiber cement board) for fire resistance, and I'll probably be insulating it as well to help protect against freezing temps...
