I purchased 16 LF280K direct from eve after reading so much on this forum. I thought buying direct from eve would gurantee the best cells and service ( the premium was around $500 over the resellers on the forum at the time). I received my batteries and i can only say they been packed totally...

Can anyone help me with the correct type of steel bar for compressing a pack ( 16s - 280ah cells ) there are so many choices with big difference in price. Is the cheapest mild steel ok for this kind of application ? What have other people gone for? My pack will be static sitting in my attic...

This is about the cheapest i have seen in the UK for lifepo4 thats almost in stock : https://offgridvan.life/shop/eve-280ah-32v-lifepo4-battery-cells But you could get 3 x 100ah (3.2v) on GWL for less than the one 280ah from offgridvan but looks like sold out for november.

I'm in the process of getting some EVE LF280Ks and being offered these new terminals (this is direct from eve) . I've never seen these before do they need special bus bars, has anyone seen any battery building videos with these? Thanks alex
