You bet I did, lol! I have the positive coming off one end of the 8 batteries and the negative off the other end to more evenly charge. Or so I read, lol
This is a “new” install, so my battery monitor has not seen even one battery cycle down to 50% until now. I have read that they “learn” and will get better at estimating. Is that expected?

No, the red wire basically goes to a terminal that is also connected to my batteries and inverter positive. I’m using my battery protect post for that function right now. Have 5 post terminal block to make that a permanent connection
