Any more input on the straight swap from SLA/AGM to LiFePo4 ? Any worries on the charging circuit and algorithm? Can it really be a drop-in replacement to use a LiFePo4 of the same physical dimensions? -

I'm wiring the inlet box / panel breaker interlock / the whole thing for L14-30, 240V, 10/4. This way I can use a 240V generator if needed. Bridging the hots is done by using an adapter at a 120V generator (THIS sort of adapter)

Yeah, I've done it with the 120V generator at a prior house, an adapter bridging the two hots, then plug into to the L14-30 inlet onward to the interlock breaker. All the 120V works while the 240 sees zero volts. maybe I'll just do the Bluetti system with an ATS, then the genny to a battery...

I'm trying to avoid a subpanel. The medical devices are scattered around the house. I imagine it's easier to figure out how to keep all 120V energized than to rewire everything.

I wonder if might be easier to pull the 240V loads out into the subpanel I'm stuck trying to figure out how to integrate an inverter/battery to an ATS, while floating them on grid power but able to charge them up with a generator. There are higher draw medical devices around the house that...

How about the EG4 3kw inverter and two EG4 5120 batteries? Will the EG4 pass grid power through to the panel, charge/float the battery bank, and be otherwise transparent to the system? Can the inverter be installed between the grid and the house panel? I understand that the inverter is only...

Yes, so which inverter would serve the final system? That inverter would be the first part of the puzzle. The GYLL would merely be the first battery in that system (if using the GYLL, EG4, whateveritscalledthisweek lol)
