  • Post in thread: What was your worse DIY solar mistake ever?

Ecoflow Smart Home Panel, I started getting this out of phase error and I only had one 240v connection on Circuit 1 and circuit 2. This had been working flawlessly for two years prior. So I checked all the wires in the SHP and replaced the breakers in the SHP. Did a lot of searching in this...

  • Post in thread: Charge 2 Separate Ecoflow Delta Pros with 1 Solar Array?

Okay, I was feeling froggy today and hooked up Two Ecoflow Delta Pros to one String of six 250w solar panels. The panels were in the 3S2P figuration, The Deltas are hooked up with a two to one MC4 connector. And it is working! Kinda! I use both with a SHP daily to power 10 circuits for Freezers...

  • Post in thread: What do you use your DC solar controller outlets for?

I will be trying mine (PowMr 60a 48v) to charge an Ecoflow Delta pro through the XT-60i port. Unless someone lets me know if that is a bad idea.
  • Post in thread: DBarr's addon system

Started back in 2018 when my wife and I got an Enphase IQ7+ system with 30 350watt panels installed After the first power outage I figured out the system shuts down to protect the power company people. Good but I like a lot of others believed that with solar you should always have electricity...

  • Post in thread: Max Voltage for Ecoflow Pro

I hope you solved your issue. I am a newby here however I have two delta pros that I power by solar. From what I have read and understand you would be best using 6 of the panels and connecting them 3 in series with 2 parallel sets so the volts do not go over 150 max. and it is better to go with...
  • Post in thread: BMS quality, Which battery to buy.

I have SOK and EG4 batteries, After much reading in this forum and other places, combined with my personal experience's either are good choices. I like that the SOK are user serviceable, however if it is a well built battery there should be no reason to service it. Price wise the EG4 is a...

  • Post in thread: Your preference, DIY or rack?

I chose to go with rack batteries, at present I have two SOK 48v100aH and two EG4 48v100aH, The SOK were out of stock, but I have no complaints about the EG4. My choice was the shipping times of "Rack batteries" verse "DIY Batteries" and then finding a BMS and flexible clamps to connect the...

I just installed one of these meters and mine does the same thing. I have 400ah worth of batteries and only use about the top 15 % throughout the day and the next morning the meter shows 0% left when the batteries are still at 53 to 54 volts. Oops, just noticed this thread is 4 years old.

Your temps aren't that hot though, keep in mind what is hot to our hands is barely warm for most electronics. I don't have a thermal camera so I use the "touch it method" with my hands. I am not sure how most people without the extra equipment would test for temp, but if you use the proper size...

  • Post in thread: Battery Blues : first Li Time now SOK

There are some valid points about being able to have total control of the $1200 plus battery you purchased. But I can also see the side of SOK. If everyone had a way to change all the settings it would be hard to offer a warrantee anywhere close to what they do. Someone playing around without...

  • Post in thread: Charge 2 Separate Ecoflow Delta Pros with 1 Solar Array?

The way I understand it is, As long as the battery (Battery sets) can produce more than 30 amps (for 2 Delta Pros they will pull the energy they need. I the power supply puts out less than what the DPs need they will fight for the power. I have two delta Pros that have been hooked two two 48v...

  • Post in thread: How to charge my 51.2v rack batteries

You are correct, I can only guess at the DOD as I only have a way to look at voltage. My battery is always connected to solar and stays at a voltage range per chart of 70 to 80%.
  • Post in thread: Ecoflow smart home panel $1299

I called the installer of my Solar panels and he gave me the recommendation, I also read the install manual that came with the SHP and watched several videos on youtube so I knew how but the code in my county required an electrician because I am hooked up to the grid.
  • Post in thread: Need Help Wiring my SOK 48V rack battery to Delta Pro.

  • Post in thread: Crazy Idea to add Rack battery to Delta Pro

The person checking this unit with a meter has purposely run the battery down to disassemble for the video. DELTA PRO has a battery capacity of 3,600Wh (48V 75Ah), Battery type: PCF 15 cell, and I believe it has a System Voltage: 48V · Nominal Voltage: 48V · Chemistry: LiFePO4 · Charging...
  • Post in thread: EcoFlow Smart Home Panel + Delta Pro = Gamechanger!!!

This is a jpg of my setup, I have power even when the Grid is down, The SHP keeps any voltage from feeding back to the grid. I run the most days when the sun is shinning. I also have an Enphase IQ7+ system with 30 panels that feed the grid with any extra I produce. The Enphase does not supply...
