I have a question about heat pumps. Can somebody tell me if this is a stupid idea? Why heat pumps dont work like this?
In theory you could. But, you don't want to have a phase change occurring in the turbine because the cavitation would tare it apart, and you want all of the phase change to occur in the evaporator because that's what is providing the cooling. So it could only be used to recover energy by...- Ekear

The converter is probably about 90% efficient so 2137/.9 = 2374 / 120 = 19.8 amps at the generator.- Ekear

It doesn't "switch". It can take any input from 90v to 260v and convert it to DC.- Ekear
