With regard to the "grid", are you saying (were you saying) that your system would ONLY use power from the grid? Even if the batteries were charged and attached and 'ready to go?'

How did you get your monitoring software (WatchPower? shown here?) to collect data over time and then to show information in graph form? I can only see realtime and when I open up the data/chart tab - nothin.

Hmmm. There's the "load ports" for the lights that came with the unit. These two lights are LED bulbs on a 12'± cord that plug directly into the SCC. This is the light that flashes when the battery get's low. There's also a + and - connection for loads on the SCC. I don't use that; but when...

I switched to all four panels being in one single series and it improved performance a LOT! Even though the panels are in the same temporary place, pointing in the same direction, right now. Voltage listed on the MPP Solar CC green readout screen gets up to the 70s. If I understand correctly...

I'll try that! Not a problem, just need to switch around a few connections. I've got 8 gauge wires from the CC to the panels so that can handle high(er) amperages and/or higher voltages without any problem, for the length that I'm running.
