100% SOC, absorption/float for constant loads

4 x 200w panels wired 2s2p, into a victron 100/50 controller, going to 2 x 12v 200ah lifepo4 batteries in parallel. Everything works great, but I am wondering about how I should be telling the controller to behave at 100% state of charge. I am running starlink/dc fan/dc fridge constantly...

Victron Energy Blue Smart IP22 as RV Converter replacement?

It has three outputs, but if you only are using one it will put out 30 amps to a single battery. I installed one a couple months ago.

    Reverting DC Setup to A/C

You may want to take a look at a standard RV power center/converter. These are particularly made to convert an AC input into DC and distribute it to various DC loads. Your idea of bricks for everything will work, but it will likely turn out pretty messy. If you wanted smallest form factor...

Help with victron cerbo/mppt load output

Thanks for the suggestions. Well I gave up on a non mppt solution and just ordered a used smartsolar 75/10 controller. Going to build a small enclosure for it plus a couple other electrical things that need a better home. I'll just use the other two controllers for their specific purposes...

Help with victron cerbo/mppt load output

Right right I was just looking at these. I think some type of hardware solution like this will be the direction I’m headed in. The only thing I don’t like is that I would have to run yet another wire to outside of the trailer for this. Would be great to tap into my pv shut off breaker as the...

Help with victron cerbo/mppt load output

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately that won’t work for my application as both 100/50 and 100/20 VE direct ports are occupied with communication cables to the cerbo.

Help with victron cerbo/mppt load output

So I have a victron 100/50 wired to 4x200w panels on the roof of a trailer, and also a 100/20 controller installed to use for a separate ground panel or two. These are both connected to a cerbo s gx/starlink for remote control and monitoring. I have roof mounted floodlights that I would like...

    Samlex 4024 Inverter - MN

I have for sale a very good condition Samlex 4024 inverter/charger. Has been installed once, some light scratches on the case and near the mounting holes, no real damage of any sort. Very good condition overall. Missing one nut for the battery connections, and some of the black plastic caps for...

How important is V-Sense to the health of my system?

Interesting! Totally not how I remember it working. Thanks for the resource.

How important is V-Sense to the health of my system?

I just set my 12/2000 AC input down to 2 or 3 amps the other day. I'm pretty sure it goes down all the way to 0 in 1 amp increments. Maybe even 0.5 I was on a PC with the USB cable/adapter. Maybe you are wireless and it doesn't allow as much flexibility? I would assume your capabilities would...

    Micro-PV Build

I've used about 6 different of the victron smartsolar mppt's now, including the smaller 100/20 and 75/15. I've never had a problem with any of their terminals, or charging the battery exactly how their supposed to. Same with the renogy controllers I've used as well. I would get yours replaced.

    Help ID these cell's/BMS

Thanks for the links. Yes I searched, and found many that visually look just like this one, but couldn't find this exact one anywhere. But other than the listed pack voltage and current output rating, I can't tell the difference between any of the models, and I don't know enough about them to...

    Help ID these cell's/BMS

Been looking at DIY banks for awhile now, and found some cells and a BMS for very cheap locally. Kind of an estate sale type deal. They are relatively low capacity, but will suit my needs for a small project just fine for now. Seller claims brand new never been used. My main question is, is...
