Exactly....plus keep the odors from piling up. The fan is being installed inside a pipe that is plumbed right onto the pit. So it pulls fresh air through the sitting area and vents it outside so no pit odors waft up through the seat etc. 12v Noctua ip67 rated large pc fan. Works great.
Very true. I thought there would be a neat way to hook this up. Still going to try to figure something out but in reality a bigger battery or more PV is the simpler route.
I could do that and program it to a higher low voltage cutoff. But I'd still want a cutoff for the lights just in case.
Was hoping I could setup some sort of relay/diode setup to power the fan for both scenarios.
It does have a load output.
The challenge is that my battery might drain enough to disconnect my lights if I leave the fan running 24/7 and not switched at night.
So I would like to be able to run the fan off PV during the day and then have it be on a switch when the PV isn't providing enough...
Yes I have a 75/10 victron in the current system. But I'd like to run the fan off pv during the day and be able to use an off/on switch when I don't have pv and pull from the battery.
The battery isn't big enough to run the fan all night and I don't have room for putting a big battery on the...
I have a panel and battery supplying 12v power to my outhouse. I've installed a 12v fan I'd like to run continuously in the outhouse using a dc=dc converter right off the panel when the sun is out.
I'd also like the option of running this fan off the battery via switch when the panel isn't...
A lot of places sell pre made 8x8 or 10x10 wood sheds that are tin or shingled roof. I'd trust one of those over the plastic sheds for durability, wind resistance and water tightness. You could always add vents and/or power small fans to ventilate in either setup.
Looking at these brands for an inverter for a small 24v or 48v system.
How do these brands compare for quality and warranty/customer service if you have issues?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Good Morning,
I haven't been able to come to a conclusion on what MC4 crimper to buyand haven't found much using the search function on the forum on this.
Would anyone have recommendations on what is working for them when crimping MC4?
Thank you
Thank you for pointing to the Victron thread on this. Makes sense if they are specifically designed to handle stranded to consider not using those ferrules.
Good Day,
I'm looking to purchase a few sizes of ferrules for wiring into my Victron SCC's. Would anyone have recommendations on where to buy good quality ones?
And would you have any recommendations on which crimper to purchase?
Thank you
