Thanks, I did choose a lever crimper, hope it works. If I would just remember to slow down and do some checking before I buy it would help, at least returns are easy. I believe this is called learning. Fran
Hi , go to the begining of this post,' 24 volt blueprints missing". About 3 posts down is Rednectec's post with the links, 2000w and 3000w. Also ,same topic, check out Survival Llly, she has a vid about her 24v system.
Like any hosting site it depends what your watching. Rumble does not censor as far as I know, and reckless censoring by the left oriented groups is a bane of many mainstream deals. And really, Google for information? It is censored.
Hi, one of my goals is a water pump to draw water from our well, I've heard a 24v pump is better. But I am set up with a step down to 12v system and little panel.
First I'm not looking for the 'all in one' blueprints, Rednecktec has sent me the one I'm using. When I say the "set up"I'm thinking I don't see them because they may be in the process of upgrading.
Yes, WYT, the bungees are already weakening. Thanks for all.
I don’t completely understand this thing but the positives seem good. Let’s say we have a situation where sun is poor and we have rolling blackouts, or power 4 hours a day: you could accumulate power to the batteries when possible...
Thanks Maddy, excuse my errors. I'm straining to heat this little room without electricity, but you have made it clear battery power is not feasible, I need heat that might be needed for 2-3 days. I have propane in that room and will seek a small thermostatic controlled heater.
Hey, Wiseacre, interesting idea. We had -35 F WC for 2 weeks once years ago. I use a seedling heater in a 5 gallon bucket with a 1.5 gallon bucket inside to ferment wine during cold seasons, works well. Thanks.
Hi smoothyJoey, details: my solar system is portable, my well water starts at40 feet, and I’m wanting to have a way to extract some water in a grid down emergency. I’ve shyed away from trying 240v from a 24v 2000 watt system. Fran
So be it Corndog, I’ve been around a while understand this type of conversation. we will see where it all leads. Solar power might be very handy, take care. Fran
Yes, I've seen them at New England solar. I'd like to drop a say ,1/2" line down the well and pump out whats needed, maybe 4 gallons a day, which would/could be supplemented with rain water catchment. I do tend to think small, I'm working with 24v, 2000watt, 100ah 24v batteries and 500 watts solar.
I’m trying to determine the best lay out. I have a few questions down the road but thought I’d begin here: any ideas on layout. First question is is it detrimental to have something fused twice.?
Diaphragm pump: Yes maybe, I just want a flow of water from 40 feet down. 24/12 volt: so the 24v pump would require a thinner wire, I'd be about 15 feet from the solar set up.
