I haven’t quite got that far with head and pressures, etc. There are multiple springs also on the property that I considered tapping into by maybe a dam of some sort and running hydro with pulleys. Lots of ideas.

Where do you connect the wire from the ground rod in the earth? Have solar panels, mppt, inverter charger, small electrical panel and generator... I would imagine you only connect it to one. Which is best place to connect it to?

Have a new Growatt sc4880 mppt. Seems to be working fine. My panel is putting out 20-30v but zero amps (0.0). This was later this evening with zero sun and quite overcast and cloudy. I’m just curious if that is normal and it’s just so low that it wasn’t reading at all. Picture of panel tag...

It’s an electric start Westinghouse igen4500 inverter generator with remote starter. Auto choke. Push the button on the generator once and it starts. Push it again and it stops.

Wouldn’t the relays in the inverter do that? The inverter is a Renogy 2000w inverter charger with auto gen start contacts.

This is the main thing I was questioning. If the contacts on the inverter connect it. It will be connected permanently until the inverter disconnects it. My concern was the button on the generator is momentary but the contacts on the inverter I would think are continuous until they disconnect...

That’s my plan… have screened vents for each compartment, but still sealed from each other.

So the momentary switch I found… has 12v + & - then nc com no. The inverter has nc com no. How would the wiring look?
