  • Thanks for your reply. My solar panels are Canadian Solar 395k watts, 43.3 v. I have 10 panels on the trailer. The Midnight controller only shows 2k watts and 53 amp max at full sun in Mohave desert. The limits are set on input amps at 90 amps.
    Ebay has a the trailer manual for sale and I am not sure that would address this issue. Each 5 panel array come into the PV breaker and both seem to be working.

    So are you saying with AC Coupling if the batts get low, the SI will simply shut down even if the grid is available on AC2?

    Missed these messages somehow, maybe not to my email.

    SI doesn't shut down if grid is available. SI shuts down if battery low and grid is not available. Then after grid comes back up, SI can't wake up and connect. Need more charge in the battery first. So preferable to avoid dropping to 80% DoD.
