That’s what I was thinking but didn’t want to try without some guidance. I have already verified input and output wiring to be correct. Meaning ac input is from the same phase and ac out put is going to same phase as shared inverter

They are not failing anywhere near where they are mounted. It is always on the lower end of the panel and seems the sealing material is letting moisture in. Was just wondering if anyone has tried to reseal the edges with any kind of material. I realize the shortage ones are history. Just trying...

These were used panels when we bought them. I’ve had them up for three years now. I have had four of them fail the same way. Seems they are all slowly doing this. I’ll try to get some pics to show what I’m talking about

No it is the one by itself feeding L1. It is also the one which had one of its arrays short to ground. I have cleared the bad string but haven’t troubleshooted to find the culprit in that string. Was wondering if it might have stressed something

I determined I had a short by the arc I was seeing and hearing jumping from the bottom underside of the panel to the panel aluminum frame

This will happen over a 24 hr period

They are 200 watt panels. 68 volt output at 3.84 amps. I am running them 5s3p per array.

This might be off topic a little but is anyone experiencing light flickering with the EG4 6500es 48 volt inverters. I am still investigating why sometimes this happens and sometimes not by monitoring load conditions at the time it is happening. Trying figure out a solution for this

I also am wondering what configuration of any panel is more efficient, higher voltage and less amps or max amperage and less voltage. I realize the wattage will figure up either way. Just wondering about the efficiency

Signature solar showed me how to set this up. I am going to get a fourth inverter to complete the install. Just did not want a $1500 battery charger and asked if there was a way to make it do a little work while I was waiting for the fourth. It is the same as setting up 4 settings wise

It doesn’t affect the output voltage of the inverter that is fluctuating a lot
