It is good to see Signature Solar looking into these questions on this forum. I missed the sale in January on the 'buy three batteries and get the rack free'. I sent SS an email about it on February 6th, and they did get back to me today. I feel for them getting slammed. It can be difficult to...
Anxious to hear how this update is doing. There is a guy who posted a video on YT that was upset about this issue and switched back to MPP inverters because of this flickering issue. Some may have already seen it. Thank you SS for getting on this!
This is our little off grid solar project. We would love it if you could give us some of your thoughts. We have a couple of videos showing our progress. Thank you so much to this community for giving us the inspiration!
Thank you very much for your reply. I better start saving for a mini split, it sounds like! A side benefit it that I have always wanted a place to work out of the 100+ summer valley heat!
That is great to hear. I would love to see your guys installations of the mini split to cool the inverters! Post a picture if you get a chance! Thank you again for your help!
Not running at that time, but running now! Yes, they are not shy about making their presence known, especially when the sun is shining brightly! lol:LOL:
Good day. I was experiencing the same issue with the dim glowing red led bars. I tried rebooting the system, turning everything off and restarting, and switching all the LED settings to no avail. The solution that worked was to change option 28 from 2P1 to SIG. When restarting the inverter...
Here is one mid install. We are adding a temperature controlled exhaust fan to the exterior.
Installing a DIY Off-Grid Solar System: 13,000 Watts with MPP Solar LV6548
Anyone know why the shipping went bonkers this morning? There usually is a middle shipping price. But this morning, there is pick it up yourself, or HUGE shipping cost?
Agreed! I have made a few 'smart home' adjustments and additions. So far, they seem to work well, and have automated some things that I wanted like turning on the outdoor lights at dusk, off at 11:00 PM, etc. One thing I do like, is if I hear something in the night, I can turn on all the outside...
Hello everyone. Just wondering if any of you have these LV6548'S in the garage, and if this causes a heat build up issue. Our garage is insulated, so if these would continue to pump out heat, will the temperature continue to rise? Does anyone have any experience with this?
That is great to know. Thank you very much for your message. How big of a mini-split are you running in your garage. I didn't think of that option, great idea.
