NAZ Solar and Richsolar have a variety of smaller solar panels to choose from. It has been satisfactory purchasing from both. I mention this because your dimensions (~66X55 inches) may be better suited for more than one panel but I could be mistaken.
If you provide more details/images, someone...
It will be such a big system, consider not messing with LPG refrigerators and such. Members here on diysolarforum report having had issues with those appliances plus they can cost quite a bit more.
Your drying room runs in the winter? Perhaps you will describe what they are for?
Lead batteries have served humankind for many years. We should be grateful, not hateful, right? Only warm farewells.
Maybe 8 years with FLA Trojans (T105’s?) I don’t remember any issues filling as long as I stopped when the surface tension changed when reaching the base of the port…
In the year 19 and 96 (or so) my retired Elec.Eng. neighbor/friend assured me I could use Square D QO for my solar system. It’s been here all these years.
Glad you have something to cook in that way.
Our 1200W inverter handles cooking temperatures described as medium high; plenty hot enough to get things to a boil. Much less power needed to cook/simmer. Curiously our induction cooktop has a roughly 50W idle consumption.
Hoping you will report...
48V is what I would do but need to be careful working with the higher voltage; not for the sloppy/easily distracted rushing in a bad mood kind of person.
Are you going to be the one transporting batteries? Hopefully you can get help because the more cost effective 48V batteries are kind of...
Here is a blurb from the Georgia EPOCH website:
Our first company, 18650BatteryStore, was founded in 2013 with the goal of providing a reliable and trustworthy supply of 18650 lithium-ion cells to the North American market. After personally encountering difficulties sourcing genuine cells and...
Sounds good and when re-joining the “balance” charge batteries back to the entire group, all the other batteries would already be charged ‘100%’ normally with solar?
We have 2 other Victron charge controllers (MPPT 150/70 and MPPT 100/20 48V) working with separate 2X175W and 3X100W “12V”...
Hopefully this is a good project for you in the sense you want independence rather than being forced into it. Sounds like a fun project.
Have you purchased those 12V products yet? Can they also run on AC power (like a refrigerator)?
Do yourself a favor and use that inverter. This will allow...
Good relations with anyone who might hear or see your goings on is good practice. Someone tattles on you during process and it will get messy. Then you can go with the ‘rent a zombie’ plan. But you already know this.
Please report back. Thinking I have a similar situation here but really not sure about the details brought up in this thread so skillfully by participating diysolar members.
By the time I posted 'geothermal', the thread pretty much established cost and space being substantial.
A year round source of energy, geothermal is currently viable for a few areas (66% in Iceland). With high power millimeter waves drilling past the rocks, depths to acquire supercritical...
Wondering about the video comment that Will lives on the west coast. Seems like Las Vegas recorded here. Does Prowse have inside information about California falling off the continent?
So many people live in apartments. How can they utilize solar to charge electric cars? Where can they plug in...
Thank you to those members supplying information to this thread. Having flexible solar panels undergoing regular vibration could lead to possibly dangerous failure. This has resulted in a change of plans for me.
We do not know if peepeeman is being obnoxious with his neighbors (like he is...
These?

They do not want you to connect in series but the video shows exterior fuse to protect the battery(?), water resistance, ability to be opened for service/replacement, exposed heat sink for the BMS.
