DC>DC charger AND isolator? Or instead of isolator?

Hi all, I have recently upgraded the "house" batteries in my 1994 class A m/h from 4 x 120 a/h deep cycle to 2 x 200 a/h lithium batteries. The first time I started the couch engine the alternator belts started slipping and made a very high pitched noise. This was due to the very low resistance...

Thanks Justin, Yes I am looking at a shunt battery monitor. I like the Victron but am on a budget this close to Christmas. The Lithium batteries have an inbuilt Bluetooth SOC, amps in/out, volts and temperature.

Am I on the right track?

Hi all, Can you please have a look at this and let me know if I am doing thing right or am I about to set fire to my RV. I am updating all the 12 volt power generating system in my 1994 Holiday Rambler that I have been living in for the past 6 months while working to build up some $$. My plan...

I need help selecting a busbar size

Hi, I have had 2 bus-bars made at a local elections hardware manufacturer. They are rated to 500 amps, twice the rating of my 250 amp main fuse. From these I will be attaching the solar controller, the inverter and battery wire's. Just picked up the 2 bus-bars that I had made. They have an...
