I would disconnect power and let it sit for a minute, then reconnect.does it power up without the load. I have the same inverter running a large freezer for 8 months or so, no problems
I plan on the inverter being close , total wire length would only be 4 foot, 2 foot each way.A quick check on the wire calculator says 6 gauge is good for 160 amps at that length. So now I just need to find a breaker.
I think I'll just use 2/0 since it's a very short run.
Hedges, you got a breaker that you might recommend and work with the 120 amp bms?
Thanks for the input everyone!
I hve a victron charge controller 100/50. I would like to wire up 4 280 watt panels. Would the best configuration be 2s2p? Also would i need to fuse the panels? Thanks in advanced
Got a question if i can use these panels with my current charge controller. I posted a pic of the back of the panel and the specs on the charge controller. It says on the controller 780watts 24 volts, so does that mean i can use 3 panels in series (250wattsx3= 750 watts) ? I havent bought the...
12 volt 560AH lifep04.
I currently have 2 315 watt panels in series using that controller but got the 280 watt panels at a great deal including the racking.
So I'll remove the other panels all together and use then elsewhere.
With the battery shunt I have wired to the battery and withe the 315x2 panels and victron 100/50 controller I usually see around 30 amps going in the battery during charging, never saw 50 Amps but probably due to heat(south Carolina) and panel angle.
Now the question is what do I need to do...
I broke a stud off / laser weld.Drilled and tapped it, i may have went a little too deep on the drilling, will find out soon enough. I have it charging back up and seems fine so far.
Im putting together a 70AH Lifep04 in 12volt. Im using a 120 amp BMS (Overkill nock off). Since the BMS is good for 120 amps would a bussman 150 amp resettable circuit breaker like this be good https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01G5WHP2M/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A6AY1HFZHO49U&psc=1.
