And yes, it should show a house icon. I don't suppose you have the Growatt wired up incorrectly, with the batteries/house connected to the unit's grid terminals?

Good to hear (sorta'). I've been looking at Solar Assistant... guess it's time to make the leap. I've read that you can actually run both by using a USB cable to connect to the dongle rather than inserting it directly, thus freeing up room to connect the pi.

I have the same monitor and agree with above. My trouble is figuring out some of the settings. Is there a way to get the screen to shut off after 30nseconds or a minute? I played with various settings and haven't been able to figure it out.
