Don't scare me like that! Is that possible? Like if I fix all this stuff, can he throw more curve balls my way? I realize if the stuff I fix doesn't meet his standard...I'll have to fix that. I guess anything is possible. He did show up to the inspection and his first words where "I shouldn't...

Or run you PV wire into a common metal junction box if indoors, then split them out in pairs via rigid metal conduit or flexible metal conduit. It looks like the victron will accept probably 3/4" for each PV string?

Asking if there needs to be an additional ground wire from the inverter to common isn't holding my hand. All he needs to say is yes...or no. After all the feed back on this post, I think the inspector doesn't know the proper answer and that may be why he remains terribly vague on this...

Will this system require a state / local inspection?

Same here, but Colorado forced my hand and I had to get it inspected in order to build my home. Glad you don't require an inspection though b/c there are all sorts of considerations to account for if you have to get regulation involved. Regulation = $$$. Given your answer, I don't really have...

From the moment PV DC (above 30V) crosses the threshold to the interior, it needs to be in metal. I started my transition just outside of the power shed with a metal LB connector and it just continues throughout the interior of the shed. I know it says metal to the first disconnect, but just to...

I thought about that as well, but I don't think the inspector is concerned with that portion of the install. He didn't seem at all concerned on the initial inspection, so I have to presume the same on the next one. If he has a problem with it, I'll tear it all out by hand right in front of...

@OffGridForGood I do have an 1-1/2in PVC LB just before everything comes into the building. Sadly, it's all glued together since I didn't think this would all be on the chopping block. Since the hole coming into the power shed is 1-1/2inch, I definitely have to re-use that hole so I have to make...

It is funny how it all works out indeed. I'm so ready to get through this regulation BS and just be me. After I have the state off of my back, I'm going full cowboy and doing whatever the heck I want. So ridiculous that an individual has to deal with all of this when this is exactly what I'm...

@B-Mod Are you 100% certain of this? The manufacturer seems to think otherwise, but my goodness, who the hell knows. I am scared to death to create the bond in the EG4 PDP Load Center. It doesn't appear to be designed for that. Sure, I could run a jumper between the two busses, but for some...

@Shimmy I feel like I've heard the same argument for segregation, but I thought it was that they share the same conduit / pipe. Given the fact that the inverter cases (access panel) currently do not segregate them and the fact that I was not written up for it originally, I am crossing my...

up.codes is where I've been deciphering everything. I wasn't sure b/c in the top left corner it mentions Minnesota, but thanks for confirming.

If you are talking about the black EG4 PDP panel under the inverters, which they no longer sell apparently, it is 42in x 12in.
