I did this with my mpp Solar 5048mg for some time until I acquired 14 additional cells. Then I rebuilt it as 16s2p. I have 4 more cells coming so that I can go back to 18s2p. There is no Problem with doing this.

i have 16s2p 560 aH around 30 kWh. Love it

My JKBMS can definately do more than 18s, i just checked it will do upto 24s

It really depends on HOW you are measuring SoC and what equipment you’re using to measure it. If it is using voltage to measure, then it is totally normal. If you’re using something like a smart shunt then I would be a little more concerned.

Ok the Bluetooth shows the bms show the capacity and the remaining aH. I should be getting the proper Victron cable for my smartshunt this week, how will I determine which one shows the battery in the Vrm and remote? Is there a setting? Also I am on version v2.84 if that helps

I was able to do steps 1 & 3, but when I tried finding /etc/pam.d/common-auth there was no /etc/pam anything. Being unfamiliar with this particular os, can you off some supporting guidance please? Thanks in advance
